Our Story
OneTree was founded by Dr Achyut Vaze, an experienced educator and former Dean at leading universities such as FLAME, Pune and NMIMS, Mumbai, to help young people grow into successful and responsible leaders. His academic credentials include an MBA from IIMA, Economics Honours from Delhi, a PhD from Pune, and a Nuffield Press Fellowship from Cambridge, UK.
Through years of working closely with students, he observed that many struggled not because they lacked ability, but because they were not given enough space to think, reflect, and grow beyond academics.

This insight shaped OneTree’s approach-preparing young people with the mindset and skills they need to thrive as the world evolves.
The OneTree Young Leaders Program has a three-fold mission:
To transform young adults into well-rounded individuals who are intellectually and emotionally mature and responsible citizens. To empower them with critical and creative thinking skills and learning outcomes necessary for work, citizenship, and life. To instil in them a pursuit of excellence and a commitment to building a fair and just society.
The flagship “OneTree Young Leaders Program” is an intensive, transformational leadership boot camp that offers two-week workshops for students aged 15 to 25, supported by short outdoor camps and several “Focus” workshops in special-interest areas as optional add-ons.
